MU Ionic Solutions Corporation (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Kenichiro Mawatari; hereinafter, “MUIS”), a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Manabu Chikumoto; hereinafter, "MCC"), has been selected for the Asia IP Elite 2025 by Intellectual Asset Management (IAM), an internationally renowned media outlet specializing in intellectual property (IP).
Each year IAM recognizes companies and organizations in the Asia-Pacific region that treat intellectual property as a strategic business asset and actively leverage it or manage disputes — the Asia IP Elite. In 2025, 101 companies and organizations were selected, including 25 from Japan.
MUIS was chosen in recognition of its strengthened patent-licensing business1 and strategic excellence, fully supported by MCC. MCC and MUIS will continue to work together to create value through leveraging IPs, pursuing continuous innovation and further contributions to the global battery industry.
